WIPO

The  World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is the specialist agency of the United Nations responsible for intellectual property. It is the custodian of the intellectual property treaties, it oversees the operation of the Patent Co-operation Treaty, the Madrid Protocol and the Hague Agreement, it co-ordinates the intellectual property policies of its member states, educates the public on intellectual property and resolves intellectual property disputes through arbitration, mediation and expert determination.
